Kallan Pavithran

Kallan Pavithran Malayalam , English Pavithran, the Thief is a 1981 Malayalam film written and directed by P. Padmarajan. It stars Nedumudi Venu, Adoor Bhasi and Bharath Gopi. The film is about a thief who meets a crooked merchant in the town and an incident occurring afterward changing his entire life. The film is based on Padmarajans prepublished short story of the same name.This was also the first super hit film of Padmarajan as a director.
